American Staffordshire Terrier - Medium - Young - Female - Dog -

Layla is a beautiful 1 year old American Staffordshire Terrier. She was raised in a very loving home for the first year of her life and it really shows in her personality. Due to economic reasons her family had to move into a more affordable home where a dog her size was not allowed to live. It wasa very hard choice that the family had to make but they knew there was nothing else that could be done. Layla is great with dogs of every size and great with new people she meets. We are not sure how she would do with cats, as she hasn't been around them since being in foster care. Layla has grown up around children and does well with them also. She does need a little work on walking on a leash because she just gets so excited getting to places she pulls you to get there faster, and she will jump a bit from excitement, but the foster home is working on those things. Layla had a great weekend at The Dog Fair and she did fabulous! She won a prize by showing the prize patrol the tricks that she knew..her favorite trick is to "give a hug and kiss." Layla is housetrained/crate trained and just ready for a new home where she can be happy, healthy, and loved! If you're looking for fun, energetic (but not too much!) dog, Layla's your girl!
