Materials Research Engineer

Our client is searching for a Materials Research Engineer for their facility in Montgomery Alabama.  Require experience in foam blowing processes, injection molding, blow molding, coatings, and adhesives technology. Responsible for materials selection and failure analysis investigations related to potential breakthrough technologies, product improvements, or cost reduction initiatives with particular emphasis on polymers,

This position requires a minimum 3-5 years of related engineering experience

Strong technical knowledge of materials, failure analysis, and process engineering

Ability to present technical information to groups and senior level management

Working knowledge of statistical methods or Design-of-Experiments (DOE)

Prefer a degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Engineering disciplines.

Experience in failure analysis, corrosion, mechanics of materials, process engineering, polymer foam blowing processes, injection molding, blow molding, coatings and adhesives technology.
